After submitting the application I was called by a recruiter and I was only asked questions but I was told nothing about the company or the job itself. Next, I received a home assignment that took me 4 hours to finish, just like they estimated it would. Since I work in the very same industry this wasn't difficult for me, so much so that one could say my work done on this could be put to actual use by them. After submitting this task I was called again by a different recruiter who explained to me more about the company and the job, only when I was already spending the 6th hour in this application process. This was followed by a one hour technical round, which was fine, though shed light for me on a few flaws (micromanagement, lack of transparency between departments) in their processes but I suppose this is due to the company being relatively new. I felt I did good but I got rejected. Until this, the back-and-forth communication with their recruiter was swift and friendly. Purely out of professional curiosity I asked for a feedback on my rejection as I wanted to know where I should improve come a similar interview. I was ghosted.
Spending almost a full working day with them I beleive I would have deserved more decency from their part.
