KKday interview questions

First round was an interview with HR who asked if I could speak Chinese and if we could have the interview in Chinese instead as a test. No where in the job scope was it mentioned Chinese skills was required. Furthermore, they said it would be really tough to meet the pay I'm looking for, which I had already indicated in my application. It was a waste of time
