Submit CV via email to KPMG Cayman internal recruitment manager
Received response via email where a telephone interview was arranged between the recruitment manager and myself (30 minutes) where my motives for coming to Cayman were discussed, along with more information about life on the island.
Second stage was a telephone interview with a Senior Manager where questions were asked about my experience to date based upon my CV.
I then received a contract for review and signaure
“The interview focused on technical and practical aspects of audit, including planning, execution, and completion stages. There was a strong emphasis on IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 9, IFRS 16, and IFRS 17. Scenario-based questions tested problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to apply accounting principles in real-world situations. Communication skills, structured approach, and understanding of complex financial reporting requirements were also assessed to ensure readiness for challenging audit engagements

Interview
It started with an interview with a HR personnel, asking about background information and general questions and a second interview invitation came straight away. It lasted about one hour. The second interview was with two Senior Managers and simple technical questions were asked. It lasted about half an hour.
