I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Karis Disability Services (Kitchener, ON) in Feb 2025
Interview
I applied to Karis via their online portal. I received an email a few days later asking for a screening call. The email was sent at 2:00pm asking me if I was available for a call at 2:30pm. I read the email around 3:00pm so I replied and set up a call for the next morning. The call felt rushed and I was basically confirming the details in the job description. At the end, they asked me to come in for an in-person interview the next day (Thursday). I was out of town so I requested the following week and they said that wasn't possible. At this point, I told them I needed to withdraw from the process. If an employer shows so little consideration for your time at the interview stage, imagine how they will treat you as an employee. It sounded like they were interested in filling the position quickly, but that rarely results in getting the best fit for the job.

Strengths that I have in my previous role that relates to the role I applied for
I interviewed at Karis Disability Services (Guelph, ON)
Interview
A bit messy of a process; seems like some dropped balls and constant changes in scheduling resulting in unclear times. Though people seemed nice, the internal workings seemed off. Not sure I would want to interview again.
