      Manager Interview

      21 Nov 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boston, MA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ketryx (Boston, MA) in Nov 2025

      Interview

Applied online and a recruiter reached out less than a week later. Full transparency: I have only heard amazing things about this company. They have a great product! I recused myself from the interview process and here is why: 1. The recruiter weirdly seemed to be navigate being a screener whilst being a talent strategist. There was a palatable friction in this duality that came across as arrogance, which might or might not have been intentional. 2. The recruiter was hyper passionate about the company's growth, which bordered on obnoxious and juvenile. (Not having enough space for folks to do their work isn't something that should be bragging rights. ) On the website, compensation is posted with a note: “*compensation may be negotiated based on experience level." The recruiter was clear, compensation was not negotiable. Note: Comp was not competitive for this particular role. It was clear the recruiter to knew this, but was simply more interested in making a "deal."
