The interview was straightforward. It began with texting to set up an interview time rather than a Calendly link e-mail. It took a little back and forth to find the right time.
The Zoom call was supposed to be 15 minutes and ended up nearly lasting twice that. I left the call very positive.
One of the things that made it so positive was the company's consistent reassurance that regardless of the outcome, I would get in-depth, meaningful, and actionable feedback. It is supposedly their competitive advantage according to their marketing.
What I got was a generic rejection without context. The client simply chose someone else.
