I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kohl's (Crete, IL) in Aug 2012
Interview
I applied online in early summer but did not get a phone call until late summer. I met with 8-12 others for a group interview. We all sat in a circle with the manager. The manager tossed out questions, and we went around the circle answering them. He changed the answer order to keep everyone on their toes. The decision between the actual interview and the job offer was very short, 1 to 2 days.

Question 1
Is the customer always right, when have you gone above and beyond for a customer, when have you made a major impact for your team
About 20 minutes , basic questions about teamwork and customer service. Had the interview and they called a few minutes later to offer me the job. The interviewer was very nice and made me feel calm
It was painless and super easy and I'm just putting in this information so I can view the average salaries of a company because I can't use Glassdoor unless I do this.
It was over the phone and very straight forward. I spoke with the current 02 (Assistant Store Manager) at the time and it focused on previous experiences in teams. Afterward, I received an email to complete the onboarding process online, filling out paperwork.
