I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kohl's (City of Industry, CA) in Sept 2009
Interview
I submitted my application in person and had a friend as a reference who worked there. About a week passed when I received a phone call early in the morning to which I was told if I was still interested in the job. I scheduled an interview shortly after. The interview consisted of a group with other candidates as well. There questions were simple and straight forward. They give different questions to different people and such. Won't ask the same question for everybody.
Very easy! They asked about my experience and ask me a few behavioral questions and then discuss about the role. The manager was really nice and really enjoyed it as a first job!
Fairly easy interview with standard questions about experience and availability. The interviewer was professional and explained the role clearly. I was surprised to learn of evening availability requirements that were not reflected in the availability I submitted on my application.
The interview process was pretty straightforward, virtual interview a week after applying. Didn't have many issues or anything confusing. I did ended up working there. Managers were ok but pay was pretty low.
