I had a highly unprofessional and disappointing interview experience with KuCoin. The interviewer, Carrie Chen, did not join the video call at the scheduled time. I waited for 6 minutes with no one showing up. This completely wasted my time and the hours I had spent preparing. This is not the first time something like this has happened to me with a cryptocurrency exchange. A similar incident occurred with BitMart in the past. It’s worth noting that both companies share a common trait: they were founded by Chinese entrepreneurs. Based on my experiences, I would strongly advise candidates to be cautious about companies with similar cultural backgrounds. The overall work environment and culture at KuCoin appear poor, as reflected in other reviews. I would not recommend anyone pursue opportunities here unless they are comfortable with unprofessionalism and disrespect for candidates’ time.
