Was a panel interview with both the hiring manager and the recruiter. The hiring manager was pretty good about making eye contact. The recruiter was not. Appeared many times that I had answered the question. Apparently not to her liking. No follow up. I sent thank you letters to both employees. Never heard anything back. I know in this economy roles sometimes get removed from the budget and never filled. Not communicating is not acceptable. I reached out to both and still never heard anything. Not even a system generated letter telling me that they were looking elsewhere or that the job has been filled.
