Interviewed for the AI Engineer role directly with both founders. The interview experience was poor. The interviewer's demeanor was dismissive and judgmental from the start, with little interest in understanding the depth of work I had built. My production RAG pipeline involving hybrid retrieval, LLM integration, and FastAPI was quickly brushed aside without any technical engagement or follow-up questions. The rejection was based on a narrow interpretation of "agentic AI" with no explanation of what they were actually looking for, despite the job description not mentioning it explicitly. No constructive feedback was offered.
