This hiring process left more questions than answers.
The feedback I received was very general and did not match the actual interview. During the conversation, there were no signs of any communication issues. I clearly described my experience working both in teams and as a solo developer, as well as my involvement in projects of different maturity levels - from MVPs with minimal requirements to full-scale commercial products.
The reason for the rejection was presented in a very vague and unclear way, without any concrete examples or context from the interview itself. It is difficult to understand what exactly influenced the decision, as nothing during the conversation indicated any concerns.
Given that this was only a single interview and the feedback felt so unclear, it naturally raises questions about the consistency of the evaluation process. Overall, the experience gave an impression of a standard, non-specific rejection response rather than a detailed assessment of the candidate.
