Lidya Tech Lead Software Engineer interview questions

The role was advertised as a software engineer, and the recruiter informed me that the interview would be an introductory call. However, it turned out to be more of a technical interview for a more general research role that was aligned with my experience. One of the interviewers looked sideways, rather than at the camera, which came across as rather aloof. But otherwise, the interviewers and questions seemed quite reasonable. I was informed that the next stage was a take home exercise. However, I heard nothing from either the recruiter or the company. About a month later I emailed the recruiter, to be informed that the company said that they were not looking to progress further as they felt that my experience wasn’t quite the match that they were looking for (which simply wasn’t true).
