Interview
Submitted a resume at a university career fair and received a call back to interview. Scheduled the interview and met with the functional manager of the program. Met with functional manager and discussed the position and my background at school. Met another engineer and discussed in his office in the program. After an unexpected contract loss (the reason why I was being hired), I was transferred to interview with a different program.
The overall experience was reasonable and smooth.
Received a prescreening email, asking questions pertaining to the position, I responded to the questions. A few weeks later, received another email tell me I was no longer under consideration.
Phone call, interview, offer. Interview was very easy questions about how you would approach different situations but nothing too specific needed or challenging. As long as you are somewhat prepared with examples of difficult situations you'll be fine.
They described a bit about the role, and then asked standard interview questions, followed by consenting to a background check. nothing out of the ordinary. The interviewer was friendly and took a real interest in what I had to say.
