I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX) in Mar 2009
Interview
At the time I submitted my resume the radiation therapy market was not as saturated as it is now.
The MDA HR department and recruiters were very responsive but I was referred by an employee in a leadership position.
The interview was a panel type interview which can be intimidating.
Make sure you answer the questions correctly, know your job expectations, and the MD Anderson culture. Try and connect with at least two people in the panel.
Be prepared to work in a large department.
As a whole the therapy team are excellent, and caring individuals with a high level of integrity all working for the patients. As in any large group there are a few lazy people who skate by under the radar.
