MacuHealth interview questions

Has one phone screening and one 10 minute zoom call. Was then told I was going to meet with a higher up. I kept reaching out because the timeline was not adding up and asking for next steps as I had other offers on the line but was led to believe I was doing fairly well. Was finally told I was a finalist and then two weeks later was texted that they were going with a different candidate- I wasn't even able to do my interview with the other person. I understand they are a newer company hiring more people but it didn't seem really professional or anything I've experienced before. If a candidate doesn't seem like a right fit- don't lead them on. I also feel like I wasn't really asked explicitly about my experience much, I had to bring it up before they ended the phone call.
