I interviewed for Macy's on numerous occasions, and no two experiences were the same. However, the questions for pretty much all of them were the same, as the interviewers read them off a paper. The first time, I was interviewed by one person and the second, I was interviewed by two. Another time, I was interviewed by one person, and then sent to another for a follow-up.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe your most challenging experience in a work environment.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Orlando, FL)
Interview
Virtue first. Then, at the store. Interview questions are not hard but hiring manager/s are sketchy. They posted part time positions but when I got into the interview they said their looking for people wanting full time job. So unprofessional to take my time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
Basic interview process. Applied online and was called in for an interview about a week later. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. No assessments needed. I talked about 2 managers.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (New York, NY)
Interview
It was in person and lasted 20 minutes approximately. Before the int started I was asked to fill out a questionnaire. The question inclu questions about my education and prior retail sales jobs.
