I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Maeving (London, England) in Jun 2024
Interview
1) Initial Interview with recruits
2) First Interview with Marketing Lead
3) Presentation on Brand, Competitors & Process to the 2 Founders & Marketing Lead
4) Presentation of Creative & Design
The founders seemed like really nice guys and were very pleasant to meet and talk with. Marketing Lead was a little more nervous and harder to read.
They were quite keen for the candidate to have maybe a couple too many experienced high-delivery skills for the pay - creative strategy, brand and design lead. producing/directing but also a video editor and graphic designer... But it is more of a start up so to an extent more understandable.
The process was a little long but they were very quick - I think the whole process of 4 interviews took less than 3 weeks - it doesn't give you a lot of time for multiple presentations when working but equally you aren't hanging around waiting. I think a more focused task to really understand what was important for them in this role.
All in all - I enjoyed meeting with them and think the company's a really great idea, wish them luck.
