The process moved quickly and was initially very positive. After being short-listed, I was advanced to a take-home exercise (pre–first interview) focused on counselor communications and operational problem-solving. This was a 3–4 hour assignment. I submitted a detailed deliverable that demonstrated how I think about Customer Success at scale. Unfortunately, I was rejected roughly 30 minutes after submitting, without any substantive feedback. The speed made it difficult to believe the work was fully reviewed, and the experience left the impression that the take-home functioned more as a filtering mechanism than an evaluation of candidates’ thinking and communication. I requested feedback and did not receive any.
I respectfully share that this process can give candidates the sense that the company is collecting ideas from applicants without engaging in a true interview process.
