The interview process wasn't that bad. In the first interview, the first person I spoke to was very nice. I was asked to do a brief which I completed and then had my second interview. For the second interview, I spoke to someone from marketing. They asked me basically the same questions as the first person in the first interview so it felt like a bit of a waste considering I went all the way to the head office for the second interview. Additionally, in the second interview, they told me the people working high up in the company have to approve everything themselves and made them sound like they weren't very friendly or approachable at all. Furthermore, I was told when the previous employees working there would ask questions to clarify what they were doing, they were considered "flakey" and it would "irritate" the people in marketing that previous employees couldn't get tasks done which to me sounds like a huge red flag!
I was told I didn't have enough experience for the role which I understand but they would be willing to offer me an internship which at the time, I would have been happy to take. After that, I never heard anything from them again or about that offer. If they didn't want me for the job or an internship, that's fine but it would be nice to actually be told. Also, the salary they were offering for the position was a junior's salary. It was so low considering all the tasks they wanted you to do in the role itself. The initial role they were advertising for was more for a Mid-weight/Senior Designer which they don't want to pay for and it sounds like you don't get any support either. For the internship, they wanted to offer me an even lower salary than what I was asking for which was nothing basically. It's really bad considering they are such a big company selling products and services all around the UK and the globe. With hindsight, I'm very glad they never got back to me, it was a blessing in disguise and if I had time to think about the offer, I probably wouldn't have taken it. I recommend applying to other companies as you are wasting your time at this one.
