I applied online. I interviewed at Maximus (Baltimore, MD) in Oct 2013
Interview
On-line app; phone interview; face to face interview and testing with temp agency; then a face to face with employer. After the major corporation I worked for eliminated many middle management positions and pushed duties downward on the administrative staff, our office of 20 or so, organized our own work teams and structured our work so that no one individual was overburdened. Such things as family needs of children and aging parents were considered with workloads. We were productive and relatively satisfied for the next several years until the company was sold to a foreign company and we all lost our jobs. Yet an amazing accomplishment.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is most important thing you accomplished at your previous jobs?
The actual interview process was short; hiwever, it was a tempt-hire job so part of my "interview" was successfully working for about 6 months. Then they asked me if I was interested in a permanent posisiton.
Very quick, nice and helpful. Knowledgeable. Very understanding & well thought out questions. Specific details on salary , benefits, pto, kpi, sick days. Schedule and training knowledge. Deep dive into how important customers are and how to deal with them empatheticly
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Maximus (Lawrence, KS) in Aug 2022
Interview
The interview process with Maximus was informal; you get the job on the spot. The interview was held virtually but you can also go in person where you fill out paperwork, take a small comprehensive test, and then pick your schedule and they tell you the start date.
