SCAM, PYRAMID SCHEME!!
I apply for a sales role for a snow company who works with major travel centres on the ad it stated 50k plus bonuses. I got the invite for an interview, i paid $1100 including flights and accommodation for it. The never spoke to me about the role or anything at this one. Then told me i got accepted for the 2nd interview the following day. They soon changed the job description overnight. They only pay you commission $100 per sale for a charity. The company takes 10% of that. Your buddy / mentor takes 50% of that. You make $40 per sale. You only have 3hrs a day to do sales so in reality you will make $0-$40 per day.

Went for first interview, got to meet with the director apparently however the website has the director listed as a female which is not the person I meet, very vague regarding pay structure, turns out the job is commission only, you are “employed” as an independent contractor, no base no sick pay no benefits or job security.

Interview
I came in for a “first round” appointment, which was really nice as I met with the company director in person.
Was a general chat about what I’ve done, what I’m looking for and what they’re looking for.
Got called back the same afternoon saying congratulations, they liked me and would like to take the process further.
The “second round” appointment was more in depth, explaining exactly what the company does and the opportunities within the company which I liked because it let me know exactly what to expect and what role I could play in the company.
