I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. Had the first round with the hiring manager. After that, I received a design challenge which I presented to the rest of the team. I had another offer in hand so I contacted the recruiter saying if she can update me asap. After 2 days recruiter came back saying - I'm shortlisted and don't accept the other offer and she will get back to me by the next morning. I was under the impression that I got the offer. The next day she didn't call. So I emailed her in the afternoon and she said they've offered it to another candidate. I was shocked. Luckily I had another offer in hand. But this was the worst recruitment experience I ever had.
