I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Medefy in Nov 2025
Interview
2nd time I have been reached out to for a leadership role at Medefy, and after multiple rounds of interviews, simply got ghosted. Interviews went well, feedback was positive, but even after multiple outreaches to recruiter AND hiring manager, got zero response, which is incredibly disrespectful. Even if it is not a good fit, everyone's time is worthy of a response.

Interview
Having interviewed for the Software Engineer 4 position at Medefy, I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and organized process. The interviewers were knowledgeable and genuinely interested in my experience, leading to engaging discussions about the role and how I could contribute. Overall, my experience with Medefy was positive and left me excited about the potential to join their dynamic team.

Interview
After applying via cold outreach, I had my first call with the CTO. We discussed my past work experience, and I learned more about Medefy and its products, long term product goals, etc. It was a casual call, and more of a get to know you type of conversation.
I then interviewed with the engineering manager, where I learned about his background, their current tech stack, technical challenges they’re working on, and more.
My final round was my technical screening, where I was given a very straightforward coding and architectural challenge. It was a panel style interview with the engineering manager and two other engineers observing the interview. It was a very amicable process, and I made sure to clearly explain my thoughts as I was proceeding through the challenge. I made sure to ask clarifying questions along the way, and at the end I chatted with the other engineers and asked them about their day to days and what they liked about Medefy.
I was given an offer by the end of the business day, and accepted! Ultimately it was a very positive interview experience and I have no complaints.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Without giving too much away, it was a practical coding exercise that tests your actual coding abilities, as opposed to something more like a Leetcode or Hackerrank question that tests your ability to memorize obscure algorithms.
