I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moss (Berlin) in Feb 2022
Interview
Several stages of the interview. Friendly atmosphere. Not super difficult questions. Questions were asked on various topics, both technical and behavioral, on architecture and general reasoning. Everything was organized remotely. Each interviewer was responsible for their own set of questions.

Question 1
Describe your previous experience and what tasks were the most interesting?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moss (Tallinn) in Mar 2025
Interview
I was accepted to an initial screening call which went well and I was left waiting for feedback. This came back negative as I supposedly did not have enough experience. Why even select me for the screening call then, you have my CV? What changed in between ? In total - a waste of time. They also require a video call with 2 of your previous managers for recommendation.

Question 1
Describe a significant undertaking professionally and the impact
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Moss
Interview
In the screening, the recruiter primarily focused on discussing recent layoffs and promoting the company rather than assessing my qualifications. The next stage was a coding task labeled as 'pair programming,' which instead turned out to be two engineers watching me work through a mundane task. One of them didn't even bother to turn on their camera, while the other remained disinterested throughout, offering no input at any point of the interview.
Overall, the experience left me with the impression of an elitist startup with an immature hiring and growth strategy.
