Internal transfer is a quick and easy process in which I met with physicians in the department individually and discussed the job and expectations as well as schedule and benefits. HR then called and talked to me about salary and transfer dates. These were verified between departments
Several lengthy steps in the interview process. Opinion: questionable business practices within the network. Why shut down an emergency room? I suggest looking at other health systems positions in the area.

Offered a case presentation of a patient heart failure and asked how I would manage the case.
I was referred by a friend so easy to get interview and easily hired. I was interviewed by nurse manager and a nurse practitioner who I would be working with. The interviewed lasted about 30-45 minutes.

Questions were situational if X happened how would you handle it? How to deal with difficult patients?
Quick and to the point. The team coordinated multiple interviews in a day, and escorted me from one to another. Most interviewers did a lot of talking, and didn’t ask many questions.
