I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at MudBots (Tooele, UT) in Apr 2024
Interview
The interviewing process started out well with the typical back and forth. The overall beginning was very upbeat and pleasant at first. It quickly moved into being asked about my background, which did go well. I was then asked the below question, to watch 9 hours of videos if hired. When I asked if I was going to get paid for it, the entire demeanor of the interview change. I was being asked to watch 9 hours of videos not as a part of training or work, but to "become acquainted" with the company.
There was an immediate negative shift in the interviewers body language, and the issue was further pressed by saying it's just watching YouTube videos for fun. That is my interpretation of it anyway. The next question was about salary ($12-$22 D.O.E) which further sunk the interview.
I immediately withdrew my application as this company is not worth the unpaid work, or pitiful salary.

Interview
The interview was very odd. I had the interview one on one with the manager. The next day I received a call saying they gave it to someone else. Come to find out later that they had already offered the position to someone else before conducting my interview. It was very unprofessional.
