I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Munch (Budapest) in Jul 2023
Interview
They assigned me a task, and to be frank, the task itself wasn't particularly challenging, but it didn't seem to have any relevance to the role I was applying for. The in-person interview experience left much to be desired. I had to make a trip to their local office, which was a bit inconvenient, but manageable. Upon arrival, I found myself waiting for about 10-15 minutes. During this time, I unintentionally overheard a conversation among three individuals discussing ways to evade taxes after selling the company, which was rather unsettling. One of the interviewers, Gergely, came across as quite self-assured, though it was somewhat amusing because there didn't seem to be a strong reason for such confidence. The other interviewer, who appeared to be a backend specialist, seemed disinterested, almost bored. The entire interview felt more like a form of teasing. To be honest, it seemed like they were searching for someone who could do everything at a lower cost. What's ironic is that their application process still has room for improvement.

First call from the HR to hear about the job, the role, the company, and all the regular information. Second meeting was a Zoom meeting with the CEO and Co-Founder, a personal meeting to get to know each other. Third meeting was face to face with the VP Product and with the CTO. They are wonderful people and it had a great vibes and it was a pleasure to meet them.
