I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NBCUniversal in Feb 2022
Interview
Very thorough interview process the staff seemed really invested in trying to find the right candidate and making it seem like an inviting place to work. Personal growth and support seemed like a big priority.

I applied online. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (London, England) in Aug 2025
Interview
The initial sift was laid back, quite conversational. The interviewer wanted answers to all the expected questions, eg. why do I want to work at NBCU and what I can bring to the team.

Question 1
Strangely, the interviewer asked what route I'd take to the newsroom. I'd never been asked that before and hadn't really thought about it! I'd advise future interviewees to consider this, as I think the interviewer wanted to know if I had really thought it all through.
It was a very standard interview. They asked about strengths and weaknesses and past experiences. Was fairly short. It was over a video call. I knew it didn't go well.
