I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NHS (Cheltenham, England) in Mar 2020
Interview
During covid. A quick phone interview then invited to induction day after satisfying responses. Needed to have previous healthcare experience. On completion of that we were invited to help tackle covid.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you went above and beyond for a patient
Fine, it was pretty easy. Kind of repetitive I didn’t mind it too much. Lots of info, make sure you research a lot. They do like you to have lots of background info
The interview is a bit difficult, band 3 healthcare assistant interview...Asking questions like I am a qualified nurse...I think I should be asked questions on the roles I have performed as band 2
Not too bad at all to be honest, couple of questions with the head of the NHS. Very relaxed and chilled. Great times. Couldn't complain about it at all. I'd definitely go for an interview there again.
