Neometrix Engineering interview questions

there was two round of gd and then a technical interview. at first a proper introduction was done from all candidate.then a topic was given like is gst a good thing or bad.and after that a techical interview was done

they shortlist as per GD rather than technical interview. what kind of company is this? we are supposed to be engineers not great speakers. They do not care at all if you have engineering knowledge. They shortlist primarily based on GD and then take technical interview of shortlisted candidates.
