It was really great! Everyone I met in the process loved working for the company and showed up authentically. Know your stuff, but you can really just be you.
There were like 3 rounds. the last one was the toughest and longest
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at New Relic (Munich, Bavaria) in Feb 2023
Interview
First a screening call with HR, then meet the manager, meet the team, case interview....then nothing! It was frankly a weird experience. It started out well with the recruiter, then I spoke to people at the company who said "the new CRO blew up the forecast and doesn't know what he's doing" and other derogative comments. Awkward to say the least. Well, I took note but moved on with the case interview (2nd call, after qualification call). Which was a stiff act with a panel of executives that didn't necessarily make my heart long for joining their team. Afterward, I followed up, but never heard back from anyone. Ghosted. I think it's such a shame when a company does that. I have friends who are buyers and user of these tools (that knows of my experience) and not to mention working for a company that partner with New Relic, and their competitors. And of course this affects things. If this is their approach with a candidate, what doesn't it say about their culture and how they'd take care of a customer? It's not a company that I could recommend to a customer. I'd say avoid, there are so many other great APM/monitoring companies out there that seems to have their act together and where you can grow your career

Question 1
Nothing particular, I can't remember any of the questions making an impression
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at New Relic (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
Didn't get past the initial recruiter. He missed out first scheduled call, blamed his calendar scheduling app. Was 7 minutes late to a 30 minute call the second time around. Spoke so fast that I could not understand him at times. Became clear that he does not understand enterprise sales and should not be recruiting for that position.

Question 1
Several generic questions about experience in similar roles, quota attainment, types of customers called on, etc.
