The interview process for the Marketing Director position took over 2 months and went as follows:
- phone interview with the outside recruiter,
- video call with HR Director,
- video call with the new COO,
- in person meeting with the COO,
- in person final meeting with the COO and owner's wife who oversees marketing. I was asked questions and barely allowed to complete my answers.
After the last interview 3 weeks of silence. When I contacted the COO and kindly asked for feedback, I was completely ignored. I then contacted the HR and finally received response: sorry we did not have time to inform you. We selected another candidate. Such an unprofessional and disrespectful treatment of a candidate who spent 2 MONTHS in the selection process and even provided a sample marketing activity plan for 2025 that the COO asked me to send over email. Avoid at all cost!! Toxic and unprofessional.
