Newton Investment Management interview questions

I did well in the interview process and was hired away from my previous firm (Wellington Management) I was surprised to get an offer as I hardly know anything about Compliance or Financial services. A lot of people at my old firm viewed me as incompetent so I felt the need to leave, as I never got promoted above the analyst level. Hopefully I will do better at Newton

First Round of interviews was difficult numerical assessment with strict time pressure. Far harder than most other numerical assessements for similar roles , seemed to focus on rapid processing of visual data, graphs etc. and the ability to intuit next calculation steps from missing data.
