- Over a month long process.
- 4 interview rounds including five long answer questions.
- Disorganized leadership. Next steps unclear between rounds so lots of waiting around despite follow up emails being sent. Not once were any of the emails acknowledged. Repeated questions during each interview round. Well into the process the founders revealed notes are not compared between interviews assuming they were even taken at all. One of the founders was very rude and arrogant, he was talking badly of the previous holder of this position and behaved like it was a burden to be wasting his time with an interview before it even started and didn’t even face me during it. If they read this they know who it is, for the sake of your company he should not be conducting interviews without proper training on interview etiquette.
- You’re led to believe you’re a strong candidate and after devoting all that time and effort they don’t bother to have the decency or professionalism to let you know you didn’t get the job. Instead, they reposted the same position with the same job description under a different job title weeks after saying they’d reach out on a specific day after the final interview. A quick and simple email would suffice.
- Bottom line: So rude, unorganized, and unprofessional. I would not recommend working for a company that doesn’t respect your time and it feels like I dodged a bullet. We’re all busy, it’s not an excuse to leave candidates hanging after a month long process.
