I have was called about a day after applying online. I was called because of an open position in women's clothes, but before the interview we were asked if anyone was interested in salon shoe sales and I jumped up! I had a tour of the store with my assistant manager, then we sat for about 20 minutes discussing my background, experience, etc. But nobody at my store has ever been hired from the outside to salon shoes, my hopes were not high. But I was called that evening and offered the position.
