I recently had the unfortunate experience of interviewing with Orix Asia, and I must say, it was an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional encounter. Firstly, upon arriving at the company's premises, I was immediately handed a lengthy handwritten application form to complete. In this day and age of digital convenience, this approach was not only archaic but also a waste of time. The interview itself got off to a bad start with the interviewer arriving 15 minutes late. What I initially thought was the start of the interview turned out to be a surprise one-hour written test. The lack of prior communication about this test was truly disrespectful of candidates' time and displayed a lack of organization. To my utter bewilderment, after the grueling written test, the interviewer simply left without explanation or any follow-up discussion. This lack of courtesy was shocking and left me questioning the company's professionalism. Furthermore, the company's request for personal information such as HKID details and graduation certificates without proper explanation raised serious privacy concerns. It felt like a breach of trust and security. Overall, my experience with Orix Asia's interview process was one of the worst I've encountered. The lack of transparency, poor organization, and disregard for candidates' time and privacy make me strongly advise others to think twice before considering this company for employment. It is my hope that Orix Asia takes this feedback to heart and improves its interview processes to provide a more respectful and candidate-centered experience in the future.
