I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Octopus Publishing Group (London, England) in Aug 2020
Interview
I applied for the role internally within Hachette. I then had an interview in person with both the Managing Editor & Group Publishing Director. Following the interview, I was given printouts and asked to complete three proofreading exercises to be completed in 30 minutes. Two of the printouts were for illustrated titles - one was fashion/interiors, the other cookery.
