I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman
Interview
Initially didnt get an interview invitation because they have system glitch (their system is quite all over the place & lumped together with MMC). Reached out to the EM and helped me to get the interview invitation.
Interview process was very speedy but tiring, I had two case interviews - one about a really extensive market sizing and another about profitability which turned into major brainstorming case - which was not particularly hard but still pretty tricky. I also had a presentation case which was not really hard but definitely VERY nerve wrecking, a dedicated fit interview, and a verbal & numerical test.
OW tests candidates really extensively, maybe the most extensive compared to other firms (incl MBB, other T2). In theory it may not be difficult to prepare for each of the test on its own, i.e. learn GMAT Critical Reasoning for verbal, GMAT math for numerical, case interviews, and how to nail written case. But all together it becomes quite tricky and you may end up over preparing in one section and under preparing in the other. My advice would be to study case interviews first, learn how to pull off decent consultant style decks, then dedicate the last 1-2 days to study GMAT.
Overall it has been a great experience, people are really helpful and accommodating, and will be there should you need anything
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard case interview questions, why OW, why consulting, walk me through your resume, and couple of other fit questions
it was smooth but you need to work hard on your calculations skills, i failed in this part of the case because the calculator is not allowed and i had not familiarize myself with it before the interview but overall it was a good experience

Question 1
tell me about yourself, why consulting and the case question
I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Milan) in May 2026
Interview
Pre-selection with one mini-case/brain teaser of 30 min. Overall, the case was testing both numerical reasoning and logics I would say. If you prepare the mini cases correctly you can pass.
Interviewers never attended on time. Rescheduled 7 times. Cases were easy relative to other firms. They dont take candidates very seriously so prepare for that. Personal questions include why OW?
