The interview process starts with a timed online assessment covering probability / statistics knowledge; if the candidate is successful, they will be invited to participate in virtual interviews over Zoom, followed by onsite rounds.

Coin flip and card draw games, place wagers to maximize PnL
Interviewed at start of 2025. Online assessment with questions about probability and expected value, followed by behavioural interview then virtual final round with 2 cognitive interviews focusing on probability, expected values and trading simulation. Interview process was challenging but well run by Optiver.

You have 3 dice and roll them at the same time. What is the probability that the 3 dice have strictly increasing numbers on their faces.

Everyone was always super nice and helpful during the interview, even if I made some calculation mistake.
First step was a bunch of games and math problems; they test reaction speed, dexterity as well as quant stuff.
Second interview was a game using dice, cards etc. and given a specific outcome, you find arbitrage opportunities to make money.
