Interview
Phone interview with HR recruiter after online resume submission. Recruiter is simply an information gatherer, doesn't know too much about the role/team or compensation, which was quite surprising considering simultaneously touting the firm's "flat" culture.
Very communicative throughout the interview process. Optiver takes a holistic approach to make sure that you would be a good fit for the team. Interview is more of a dialogue than a one sided interview.

Q: Tell me a little bit about yourself as a person?
Interviewed with 5 different people, which included analysts as well as the CCO. Mainly asked about job experience and went through basic interview questions--like what are your strengths, weaknesses, why are you interested in the role, what interested you about Optiver. After that they asked me what questions I had.
