I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies
Interview
Phone screener with Legal "Ninja" then in-person interviews with legal team. Expect lots of behavioral questions, including some references to concepts from Peter Thiel's books. The Peter Thiel-inspired questions felt a little culty and less genuine. The interviewers seemed cool and interesting, but interview process was intense. During interviews, interviewers really probe to push for less rehearsed and honest answers but also type away on a laptop to fill in whether your response was "appropriate" based on their interview style.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY) in Sept 2016
Interview
In person interview followed by phone interview. I applied via LinkedIn and employee referral. Very interesting company but not very transparent process. They also try to have a startup culture despite being a larger company.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Palo Alto, CA)
Interview
The interview consisted of a presentation on the company with about 10 other applicants for various positions and several one on one meetings. There was not a whole lot of discussion about my experience. A lot of the time was spent talking about my personal life and about what I like to do outside of work. Some of the questions bordered on being illegal to ask. Although the interview was well organized, it felt mechanical and impersonal even though many of the questions were about non-work related topics.
