Palo Alto Recruiter contacted me via email, provided me with the role's description asked me to apply and reiterated I don't need to have the required partner management experience. Let me mention I do have the experience required by the role.
Then I was asked to apply next step the interviews coordinator scheduled and interview with the hiring manager. I did extremely well with the hiring manager and he invited me to interview with 2 more people of his team, Same week the recruiter contacted me indicating the hiring manager wants me to have in total 5 interviews more being the last interview with him.
I successfully interviewed with the first 2 persons then my 3rd and 4th interviews the interviewers didn't show up, the interviews coordinator indicated these interviews will be scheduled for next week and not apology since I was left waiting for the interviewers in the zoom meeting but also the coordinator indicated the last interview with the hiring manager will be postpone for after I talk to the 2 people that didn't show up.
Then I received a non professional email from the recruiter saying the hiring manager was annoyed since I didn't show up to the interview and that I wasn't a good fit. I explained the recruiter I respect everybody's time I didn't show up because the coordinator said I will interview with the hiring manager once I complete all the interviews. Over a week later I received an email from the recruiter saying I wasn't a good fit and I don't have the appropriate experience. The same date the recruiter called me congratulating me since the hiring manager decided to give me a job offer.
I was shocked to hear about the job offer I was silent then I talk to the recruiter and said I don't want to work for a company that doesn't respect candidates and doesn't know what is doing. Then I concluded the Palo Alto Networks working environment has to be one that doesn't allow professional growth in terms of development and leadership opportunities.
