I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Parallon (Orange Park, FL) in Dec 2014
Interview
Typical process:
*I received a call from the department director and scheduled an in-person interview.
*Upon arrival, I was asked to sign in, and waited for the director in HR.
*The director escorted me to her office and provided some background information about the company and her specific departments
*I was interviewed by the Director and the Manager responsible for direct oversight of the position I applied for
*At the conclusion of the interview, the direct manager escorted me to the receptionist so I could sign out.
Pros:
I was impressed with the professionalism exhibited by all employees i encountered. They offered flexible hours and ability to work-from-home if performance was consistently above average.
Cons:
Prior to the interview, I asked a source within the company for knowledge regarding the starting salary for this type of position. I had a specific minimum in mind and the source said my minimum was within the possible starting salary range. The director waited until the very end of the interview to ask about my salary preference and I immediately knew that my response had eliminated me from consideration.
Conclusion:
I later learned that, although my preferred salary was within the reasonable range, they consistently started new hires for that type of position at or around $11/hour. If I had known that information prior to my interview, I would not have provided a definitive response. I believe this job would have been quite enjoyable and am really disappointed that they were so quick to write me off. It would have been a struggle to survive on that salary, but I would have been willing to look for creative ways to edit my budget.
Suggestion:
If a candidate seems really interested in a particular position, please don't disqualify them based on their salary preference. Keep in mind that the candidate is explaining their preference, even if their response starts with "No lower than......." If a candidate is especially interested in a job, they will be willing to negotiate their starting salary, and will likely become a valuable asset to the organization because they will enjoy performing their job duties.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Parallon (Richmond, VA)
Interview
The process took about 3 weeks. Was contacted by a recruiter and was invited in for an interview. I had to take an excel and math assessment (no calculator). Pretty easy if you have intermediate math skills and some entry level excel experience.

Typical interview questions about strengths and weaknesses, analytical skills sets and if you like working in a team.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Parallon
Interview
Phone interview was brief and to the point. I thought it went well and knew I had the job because I was more than qualified. I expected to hear back from recruiter whether it was positive or negative. I had to check my application status online. Not much of a process.
