      Senior Account Executive Interview

      14 Jun 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Payrix

      Interview

Screen with UK based, outsourced recruiter, then 2 hiring managers. Not sure after that, I withdrew. The UK based recruiter was very personable. The first manager I spoke with was great. I really liked his no BS approach and could definitely have seen myself working with him. The second manager came from Fis and WHOA, not a culture fit at all. Very old school, "banking bro" attitude. I knew then I didn't want to move forward if I would have to work for him. I also had 3 other recruiters reaching out to me for the same role with different companies. Very confusing and tells me that they don't know what they are doing or they are expecting churn/burn.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Deal size? Company size? Sales process? Pretty typical, annoying questions. Nothing about the person at all. I got the impression they did not care at all about who you are.
