I applied online. I interviewed at Philippine Daily Inquirer in Sept 2018
Interview
The first part of the process includes an interview with HR and a three-part exam (grammar and writing test). The interview was casual, but personal questions like whether I have a boyfriend was asked when we talked about the time management needed to handle the job of a reporter.
The second part of the assessment includes a long exam (logic, clerical, etc.) and an interview with the editor. There was also an on-the-spot writing test during the interview where I was provided a short prompt and instructed to write a news article in 10 minutes.
I didn't get in after the second part, but I believe there's another interview if ever you pass this stage.
