I was initially approached by an HR recruiter of the company through Linkedin. After an initial phone conversation about the position I had an online interview with 2 hiring managers about a week later and then was invited for an on-site interview about 2 weeks later. There was an initial introduction round followed by a presentation of my experience/expertise in my field in front of 15-20 people mainly from the Preclinical Department. The presentation turned quickly into a discussion with insightful questions from the audience about my expertise and potential contributions to the company (both hard and soft skills). Then another discussion with the managers, lunch, a tour of the company and a final meeting with HR. The whole experience was very positive. Although the point was to figure out if I was a good fit for the position and the company through a lot of discussions about my scientific background/skills and how well I can work with others, it was done in a really respectful, relaxed and welcoming way.
