I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Piktochart (New Delhi (India)) in April 2018.
Interview
I came to know about piktochart openings from LinkedIn jobs and then applied on their career website. It was for a Penang based position, which would mean moving to Malaysia for me.
During the online application, they asked for 3 free dates on that week when I could work on a take-home project. I received an email on the first date (that I suggested) detailing the project requirements and offered 1 day of time with possible extension for another day.
It was a moderately complex project which should allow uploading image, add a image/text to div canvas and move it in canvas, persist across tab refresh. It was well explained in the requirements doc.
Next day or so, HR contacted over email for setting up an intro meeting. It was with two HR-personnels, who asked basic questions like why move to another company, moving to Malaysia, nature of my day-to-day responsibility, challenges I faced in working on projects, how i solved those, etc. It was a easy-going round, but some of the questions felt a bit scripted, templatish because of no interesting followup questions. Also verified my compensation, current and expected.
Next round was technical interview, scheduled with the hiring manager and a developer in the team. We talked about the project, my thought process around it, what i feel can be improved, their feedbacks on it, project maintainance questions, intermediate js questions, my programming journey, etc. It was a 2-hour long discussion and I never felt tensed during this time.
Next round was with the chief product officer, where we talked about how we plan technical projects, things I have worked on at work and personally, feedback on piktochart as a product, etc.
That was the last interview round. It was followed by a reference check, where I waa asked for two references whom I have worked with. That was followed by a offer letter from CPO.
Unfortunately, the figure was much much lower than my expectations - offered around 6.5K RM/month. Had to decline offer

I applied through their website after a week I got an email that I passed for the next step. The next was to take an online exam. The exam was pretty straight forward.

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Piktochart (Montreal, QC (Canada)) in August 2019.
Interview
Sent resume and cover letter, along with answers to some support questions which you will need to utilize the Piktochart support page to find the answers. Include a video talking about yourself and what you are excited to do at Piktochart.
Once selected past the pre-screening they send you a PDF of their process and what to expect and ask you to select a time block for a video 1-1 interview. They sent a PDF that was written to be more for developers I believe as it had references to writing code. Probably honest mistake, I didn't think too much about it.
1-1 interview with the Manager of Customer Support. A somewhat low-key Interviewer as I didn't really get a friendly or energetic vibe at all throughout the hour long interview (which is maybe by design). First comment to me was, "oh you look very different from your video" which was a bit odd way to start an interview. There were also initial connection issues so the Interviewer had to move and find a new location in the office so her laptop can get a better wifi access.
Interviewer gave suggestions for improvement on my answers to the interview pre-screen questions based on their chosen tone and way of communicating with clients. In short - they want a more formal tone so the answers are consistent with all support members. Include the pricing page link at the top of your answer because this is how they answer the question at Piktochart.
There were questions about remote working, how I would do remote working, and how will I balance having a job at Piktochart while doing my own projects. Some other questions about how I would deal with feedback from Piktochart if I was to work in customer service, as they have a tool for rating customer service specialists' replies to customers.
I asked how many support requests they get daily and how many people are in the team currently. With one manager and two support employees, the Interviewer indicated that everything is manageable right now. On their website, they do write they hire slow to find the right fit for their team. I asked what the ideal candidate looked like. Answer: accurate and precise.
After the interview, they emailed me within 24 hours to say I am not the right fit.
Some tips that might help people reading about this on Glassdoor:
* match the energy level of the interviewer - there are definitely cultural differences here from North American tech employees.
* the 1-1 interview is a bit different from maybe other applicants are used to. It starts off with the things you did wrong in your application. Be prepared to eat humble pie to start your interview off.
* be pro-active about asking questions, especially about the culture of the company and how people work there. I would classify the interview 1-1 as more of a Q&A setting. Interviewer asks a question from her list, you reply. There wasn't any real feedback I could gather if I was answering questions completely wrong or not.
I fully accept that I am not the right candidate for this role (and really vice versa for me if I was honest). I appreciate the speedy interview process and wish Piktochart the best of luck finding their ideal remote support person.
Hope this helps some people applying for the role! :)

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Piktochart (Singapore (Singapore)) in August 2019.
Interview
The team did not try to paint a "oh-so-lovely" scenario to try to entice applicants (which most companies try to do), they managed expectations up front by letting applicants know up front what are some of the things they are good at, what are some of the things they are in the midst of improving. If you are looking for a company that functions like a big family, this is worth giving a go.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Piktochart in August 2019.
Interview
If you pass the pre-screening you will follow the next steps:
1.- Technical Test.
A practical exercise which in my case took 7 ~ 8 h to finish.
2.- Technical Interview.
A meeting with 2 devs where we talked about the technical test and my background.
3.- Cultural Interview.
Interview with HR.
4.- Final interview.
Interview with the CTO and the CEO.
Don't be overwhelmed by this lot of interviews, they have been very nice during the process.
They have also asked a couple of former colleagues of mine about me (a team-lead and a peer).
Note: I applied as a remote worker.

The interview process consisted of three stages: technical interview, cultural interview and final one with the CEO. From the beginning to the end, the whole interview process was conducted in a very professional manner. After each interview, I received timely feedback and clear information about the next stages of the interview.
