Interview
Reception really welcoming and friendly. Had to do some competency tests and was advised I had done very well in all of them. Interviewing partner kept rolling her eyes whilst I was talking and I got the impression she was bored. It was really quite upsetting as I felt the interview was going well as the HR lady was very nice, engaged and approachable.
Feedback was that they were looking for someone with more experience, though that didn’t really seem like a genuine reason as I have many years’ experience in the same area of law and had excelled in the competency tests apparently, so I personally felt it was more that the partner didn’t like me for some reason.
Having since read the reviews on here, I think it may possibly be more a case of a partner who is searching for something unrealistic as the vacancy has been open for months now too. I think I may have possibly had a lucky escape all in all!
