The interview process was unnecessarily prolonged and poorly managed. We were asked to report by 8:00 AM, but the interviewers arrived around 10:00 AM, with no clear communication in between. The entire process stretched until 8:00 PM, consisting of three rounds, with long waiting periods in between and very little regard for the candidates' time or comfort. One of the interviewers, in particular, displayed disrespectful behavior. Despite providing a structured and thoughtful response to a guesstimate question, I was abruptly told I could "walk out if I wasn’t interested." I respectfully clarified that I had been part of the process since morning and suggested we restart the conversation to clear any misunderstanding. Unfortunately, the tone and attitude remained unprofessional. Takeaway: I completed the process out of respect for my college, which had coordinated the opportunity, but eventually asked to withdraw my name from consideration. While the interview questions themselves were relevant and required logical thinking, the overall environment reflected a lack of basic courtesy, empathy, and professionalism.
